Home on Broadway

home on broadway

living life on Broadway
where the sycamore maples surround
listen to the words and music
on the porch as the sun goes down
tales of adventure and wanderings
let the stories all unfold
musings and ramblings fill the days
precious moments fill the soul

Broadway…a quiet street in a small town. A block of homes with families who look out for each other, enjoy each other, and know each other. Been that way for generations of families with only time as a difference for how they live, work and play. The homes on this block of Broadway are all turning a century old and a few already have. Some have undergone facelifts, some not so much. All of the homes, however, have a unique history and a permanent place in the legacy of this town.

In the 20s, the town grew and Broadway was extended another block, renaming the street to, you guessed it, Broadway Extended. Years later, my life began in an upstairs attic room of this same house. These days, I work on music and writing in that same upstairs attic room. Guess you could say I’ve not gone far, though with my words and music I have travelled all around the world and to places beyond. Seems fitting I call this site, this place, broadwayextended.

The site here is free, meant for family and friends, yet open to the horizons. God willing, there will be something for you to enjoy. Perhaps you will learn something new, find something to give you pause…to think, to feel, to let the words and music wash over you…here on Broadway!
