Sharing the notepad, that’s what makes it precious. Of course, one writes because, well, one has to…it’s in the blood, so to speak. Like any vocation, woodworking, photography, or painting, writing is one such creative drive that captures the essence of man’s struggles. Writing reveals insights and yearnings as they bleed through the writer’s own experiences and their own perspective on other’s lives.
Writing ties the common man with the elite, the politician with the romantic, the revolutionary with the patriot. It gives voice to those who cannot express themselves. Words explain the mundane as well as the complicated and deliver perspective where a flat line exists. They express hope in the midst of despair, and bestow love in the heart where nothing resides. All of that and infinitely more.
As each individual is distinct, so too, through the ages, are the countless ways to pen the thoughts. Through words, one expresses the dreams and desires, and bends them all just enough to keep the flow going. The warm rush of realization that you have connected with something higher comes through. This sharing of the notepad is precisely that essential release to the cosmos of what has to be….

Then again, as mere mortals, there is a twist. Sure feels warm when words written from the heart are warmly received and graciously acknowledged by the reader. Sharing with someone who understands what is being said or touched by what is shared is, well, a sacred thing. This website called BroadwayExtended and all of the analogies, anecdotes and stories therein are for the sharing. A good reception will warm my heart. The process, the discovery of words put together, in and of itself sustains me. Sharing these thoughts, emotions, and expressions are testament to that. May I touch the reader in a deep and lasting way. With this in mind, I shall carry on and keep ’em comng.
