Pancho and Lefty
Yep, Pancho and Lefty. Remember this old one? Long before the Wallis Bros. played it,...
Thinking has always come naturally to me. As a child, I would make plenty of mistakes and was told to think next time. Well, I was, just maybe not thinking the right things. Thoughts come all day, all night. Sometimes, we listen and sometimes we don’t. We are given so many revolutions around this earth, so it seems rather important that we think about things, not let others do that for us. Thinking isn’t exclusively for writers or philosophers, blowhards or fools. Thinking is for everyone and it’s what got us here. Some of it has been, well, good thinking. Of course, if someone screws something up, they’ll say he just wasn’t thinking. That’s why it’s imperative that we do our own thinking. Collect our own thoughts and trust that we can actually do some decent thinking. My parents told me, teachers told me, even a few bosses tried to tell me, 'Son, you’ve got a brain, use it.'
Collected for you are some thoughts of mine that I’ve put down into words. Some of these writings I’ve wrangled over to find rhymes, dug into things to find deeper meanings, or simply let the thoughts fall where they may and lay where they fall. May these random thoughts peak your interest and give you something to think about. Feel free to comment and leave your own thoughts or go write some thoughts yourself.
